Tim Arnold

Mr. Arnold became President and CEO of Colonial Life in January 2015. He previously served as Colonial Life’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and as Chief Operations Officer. He joined Colonial Life in 2011, following a 26-year career with Unum where he held various leadership positions in underwriting, corporate planning, client services, national accounts sales and benefits across the company.

Arnold earned a bachelor’s degree in management and a master’s in business administration degree in finance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He holds the professional designations of Associate, Life and Health Claims and Fellow, Life Management Institute.

Arnold serves on a number of nonprofit boards including the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association Southeast Board, the United Way of the Midlands, Midlands Business Leadership Group, Palmetto Business Forum, and Columbia College.
