Colonial Life welcomes Steve Jones as Senior Vice President of Field and Market Development

Columbia, S.C. – (September 28, 2023) Colonial Life, a leading provider of voluntary benefits, has appointed Steve Jones to its executive team as senior vice president of Field and Market Development. With nearly two decades of experience in business and finance leadership within the supplemental, ancillary, and healthcare products sector, Steve brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.

"Steve's track record of driving growth in a dynamic environment, coupled with his well-rounded knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and operations will help us expand our reach in the various markets we serve," stated Tim Arnold, CEO and president at Colonial Life. 

In his new role, Steve will lead initiatives to strengthen distribution growth and ensure field development programs support sales initiatives. Collaborating closely with partners across the organization, he will refine market strategies and lead forward-thinking enrollment solutions for Unum and Colonial Life.

Steve earned a bachelor’s degree from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business. 

He and his family will relocate to Columbia.
